BSG Tailgates
The BSG tailgate is located in the West VIP Parking Lot (directly across from the Cantina on the south side of the stadium) & starts 3 hours before every home game kick-off. All tailgate food & drink is included in the price for those who ride the buses, although anyone is welcome to show up and take part. As we can't take donations at the park, we encourage you to enter the raffle to win Rapids merchandize, tickets are $5.
Tailgate Team
Our tailgate team are responsible for making the BSG tailgate the best one at DSG Park, if not in the league!
Duties include:
- Planning food & drink (beer!) options for tailgates.
- Liaising with the membership over what they want to see at tailgates.
- Coordinating with volunteers willing to provide food, drink or equipment.
- Ensuring that all tailgate equipment is delivered either directly to DSG Park or to the Bulldog on matchdays.
Tailgate Equipment
This is list is intended as a minimum:
- Beer keg(s)
- BSG banners
- 2x donation cups
- 2x footballs
- Ice
- Keg ice bucket(s)
- 2x large coolers
- Membership form clipboard
- Napkins
- Plastic cups
- Plastic knives / forks / spoons as appropriate
- Plastic plates / cardboard trays as appropriate
- 3x tables
- Tent
- Trash can & liners
Matchdays
Most tailgate equipment travels to & from DSG Park on the bus meaning that plenty of help is available to unload / reload the equipment before the game. The Tailgate Team simply have to co-ordinate this effort provide the tailgate as planned.
